By installing the FitForHire browser extension or using the FitForHire service at fitforhire.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
FitForHire is a browser extension and associated API that uses AI to tailor your resume and cover letter to individual job postings. The Service requires a Google account for authentication and a resume template uploaded by you.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your browser and any devices on which the extension is installed. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain ownership of the resume template you upload and the generated documents produced for you. By uploading your resume template, you grant FitForHire a limited licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume template. FitForHire is not responsible for errors or omissions in documents you submit to employers.
Documents generated by FitForHire are produced by AI and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or phrasing that does not reflect your intent. You should review all generated documents before submitting them to employers. FitForHire makes no guarantee that generated documents will result in interviews, job offers, or any other outcome.
The FitForHire name, logo, website, and extension code are owned by FitForHire. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated documents will meet your requirements or expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitForHire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, errors in generated documents, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting hello@fitforhire.app.
Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited and are not refundable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FitForHire operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
